Explore the spectacular landscapes of the Everest region on this 14-day birdwatching trek to the pristine Gokyo Valley. Combining world-class Himalayan scenery with exceptional high-altitude birding, this journey takes you through rhododendron forests, alpine meadows, glacial valleys, and turquoise lakes. Along the way, search for some of Nepal's most sought-after Himalayan bird species while enjoying breathtaking views of Mount Everest, Cho Oyu, Ama Dablam, and countless snow-capped peaks.

Note: Prices are based on a minimum of two participants and may vary depending on group size.
Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel. In the evening, attend a tour briefing and gear check. Overnight Stay at 3 star standard hotel.
Drive to Phulchoki Hill, Nepal's premier birdwatching destination. Explore the rich oak and rhododendron forests in search of Himalayan specialties. Possible sightings include Red-headed Trogon, Kalij Pheasant, Golden-throated Barbet, Black Eagle, and Darjeeling Woodpecker. Overnight Stay at 3 star standard hotel.
Take an exciting mountain flight to Lukla before beginning the trek along the Dudh Koshi River to Phakding. The surrounding forests provide excellent birdwatching opportunities. Possible sightings include Spotted Nutcracker, White-collared Blackbird, Striated Laughingthrush, and Spotted Forktail. Overnight at local teahouse.
Cross several suspension bridges before climbing steadily to Namche Bazaar, the gateway to Everest. Along the trail, look for Himalayan Monal, Variegated Laughingthrush, and Himalayan Beautiful Rosefinch. Overnight at local teahouse.
A short acclimatization hike to Syangboche offers magnificent views of Everest and surrounding peaks while increasing your chances of spotting high-altitude birds. Possible sightings include White-winged Grosbeak and Golden Eagle. Overnight at local teahouse.
Follow scenic trails through rhododendron forests and descend to the peaceful riverside settlement of Phortse Tenga. Possible birds include Himalayan Vulture, Rufous-vented Tit, and Sikkim Treecreeper. Overnight at local teahouse.
The trail climbs through alpine scrub and open landscapes toward Machhermo. Keep an eye out for Blood Pheasant, Tibetan Snowcock, and Eurasian Wren. Overnight at local teahouse.
Cross glacial streams before reaching the stunning turquoise lakes of Gokyo. Possible bird sightings include Ruddy Shelduck, White-throated Dipper, and the beautiful Grandala. Overnight at local teahouse.
Begin before dawn with a climb to Gokyo Ri, one of the finest viewpoints in the Himalayas, offering panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho Oyu. After descending, continue trekking back to Machhermo. Possible birds include Tibetan Snowcock, Alpine Accentor, and Great Rosefinch. Overnight at local teahouse.
Retrace the trail through alpine valleys and rhododendron forests back to Namche Bazaar. Along the way, look for Red-billed Chough, Bearded Vulture, and Coal Tit. Overnight at local teahouse.
Descend through forests and Sherpa villages to Lukla, enjoying one final day of Himalayan birdwatching. Possible sightings include Large Hawk-Cuckoo, Greater Yellownape, and Chestnut-crowned Laughingthrush. Overnight at local teahouse.
Fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel. Enjoy a free afternoon for relaxation or exploring the city.
This day is reserved as a buffer in case of flight delays, weather conditions, or health-related adjustments, ensuring flexibility for your Himalayan adventure.
After breakfast, transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward flight, taking home unforgettable memories of the Everest Himalayas and its extraordinary birdlife.
