About This Tour
Trek through Langtang National Park and experience high-altitude birding at its finest. From subtropical forests to alpine meadows, encounter diverse bird species including Himalayan endemics and rare high-altitude birds. Ideal for experienced trekkers and dedicated birdwatchers.

Note: Prices are based on a minimum of two participants and may vary depending on group size.
Upon arrival in Kathmandu, our representative will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. After check-in and some rest, enjoy an optional short birding walk around nearby gardens. In the evening, join a brief orientation about your upcoming trek and birding journey. Overnight in Kathmandu.
After breakfast, begin a scenic drive to Syabrubesi, the gateway to the Langtang Valley. The journey follows the Trishuli River, winding through terraced fields, villages, and forested hills, with occasional Himalayan views. Overnight at a lodge in Syabrubesi.
Start trekking along the Langtang Khola through lush forests of oak, rhododendron, and bamboo. This section offers excellent birding opportunities, including Scaly Laughingthrush, Black-faced Warbler, and Yellow-billed Blue Magpie. Overnight at Lama Hotel.
Continue ascending through forests and alpine landscapes. Birding highlights may include Darjeeling Woodpecker, Himalayan Monal, and leaf finches. As the valley opens up, enjoy spectacular views of Langtang Lirung before reaching Langtang Village. Overnight stay at a local lodge.
A gradual ascent through alpine meadows leads to Kyanjin Gompa. En route, look for Alpine Accentor, Himalayan Griffon, and Bearded Vulture. Optional hike to Kyanjin Ri offers panoramic mountain views and chances to spot Tibetan Snowcock. Overnight at Kyanjin Gompa.
Early morning hike toward Tserko Base, scanning rocky slopes for Snow Partridge. After lunch, explore nearby riverbanks for Ibisbill and other riverine species. Overnight at Kyanjin Gompa.
Descend through alpine meadows and forested trails, revisiting Langtang Village and Godha Tabela. Enjoy additional birding opportunities along the way. Overnight at Lamahotel.
Continue descending through lush forests rich in birdlife. Possible sightings include Fire-tailed Sunbird and Snow Pigeon. Arrive in Syabrubesi and relax. Overnight at a lodge.
Return to Kathmandu through scenic countryside. After arrival, relax or explore the city at your leisure. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Spend the day birdwatching in one of the richest birding areas near Kathmandu. Highlights include Striated Laughingthrush, Himalayan Cutia, Small Niltava, and Sikkim Treecreeper. Return to Kathmandu for your final overnight stay.
After breakfast, enjoy some free time before your transfer to the airport for departure. We bid you farewell with unforgettable memories of the Himalayas, wildlife, and birding adventures.
